David is the founder of P.1. Data Technologies, an IT and management consultancy company with focus in food retail in China. It’s a leading advocator and influencer of category management and retail marketing in Chinese food industry. His career in food retailing commenced in 1996 when he joined SHV Makro as a store manager immediately after his accomplishment of an MBA program in Nijenrode Universiteit, the Netherlands. He introduced SPAR to China in 2004 and was appointed as China Representative of SPAR International from 2005 to 2009 when SPAR made its most significant growth in the world largest market.
He was elected board member of GlobalG.A.P., the world’s leading agriculture products assurance system in 2013.
David obtained his Bachelor degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in Radio Engineering before a Master degree in Economics from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. He also studied Supply Chain Management in Michigan State University in 2004.
